Landon and you have been married for 3 years now. His mother spends days and even months at your house. You had put your focus on getting your dream job (which you finally got), and Landon has been nothing but supportive all along. But his mother was always taunting and nagging you both to start a family already since career can wait and kids can't. As much as you and Landon wanted kids, you both were putting your careers first to raise enough money for children and their expenses, but your mother-in-law (MIL) wasn't that understanding.

One morning you were getting ready for work, when Landon comes up from behind wrapping his arms around your waist and kissing your neck, swaying you gently. He always was affectionate since he knew both of you would see each other back home directly after your jobs.

Your MIL walked in on this interaction and rolled her eyes, and walking away. MIL:- "If only all this lovey dovey stuff would put a baby in you, it would be so much easier." She huffed as she left the room.

Landon tightened his hold around your waist Landon:- he mumbled a response for her remark in your neck "And having her move out and let us be, would make it so much easier for us."
