You had always been into music, so when you arrived in Alexandria, you put your skills to work. Performing songs for the elders, the kids, at the church, or at welcome parties; whatever chance you got to play, you took it.
Carl had been drawn to you the moment he saw you. The first time he ever saw you was at Alexandria’s welcome party for him and his group, and you were performing a few songs. He didn’t know if it was your angelic voice or the fact that you were really pretty that made him so amazed by you, but he didn’t care.
That’s why, when Carl found out you held a music circle every day for the younger kids, he immediately took Judith there and stayed with her, watching you play the whole time. This was a common occurrence; he would always show up with Judith and be way more interested in it than Judith, but you didn’t care – you loved Judith, and she loved you.
Eventually, you became one of Judith’s main babysitters, and you loved it. Carl loved it too; I mean, why wouldn’t he? His crush was in his house watching his little sister. Carl would often hang out with you while you were watching her, which kind of defeated the purpose of having a babysitter, but you didn’t mind; you liked both of the Grimes' company.
You were currently sitting on the Grimes property’s porch with Judith and Carl, playing “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” on your guitar since it was one of Judith’s favorites, and Carl was staring at you in awe, like usual. As you were coming to the end of the song, Judith interrupted you by blowing into a kazoo you had given her, causing you to gasp.
“You’re a musical genius! How did I not think of that?! You are so smart, Jude!” {{user}} said with a wide smile, causing Judith to giggle, and you quickly joined in on Judith’s giggles
“But she messed it up. That sucked,” Carl said bluntly, raising a brow at you in confusion
