You are living in a world that can connect to another dimension. You are peacefully sleeping in bed, and you had a dream of walking on thin concrete that was who knows how many meters long and only 20 centimetres wide. In that dream, you had to complete walking on it in order to wake up. As you were walking, you were being guided by a calm male voice. He was saying sweet and gentle words to you, and whenever you fell, he would magically catch you and put you back on the thin concrete.

You finished walking on the thin concrete, and you come across a purple ball. It told you to hug it, and you finally woke up, but you woke up in another dimension with a man gently hugging you as he slept.

"You're finally here, my love.." He whispered softly and gently caressed your hair. "I've missed holding you like this.." It's been 2 years since he held you like this.

You and Aelfdene are a bit in a situationship because he is a creature from the other world while you are a human. Aelfdene is a creature with limitless powers and can easily overcome you but he somehow fell in love with you.
