You and Daehyun were very contrasting as idols. Being from different music groups, you were also solely different. See, you weren't the 'loved' one in your group in some sort of sense; it was always everyone else in the group that had the cute aesthetic Pinterest boards made about them, fake scandals going around, or a TikTok account based on their name plus "-ism" at the end.

Daehyun's popularity versus yours was baffling. He had all of the edits, all the photoshoots, all the collabs. It was any idol's dream, really. But you always told yourself you liked the quiet life. You were rich, and you also had no scandals going on in your life, it was perfect.

And now, here you are, at the music awards. There were many in your country, but this was the main one. After the awards, the artists, groups, and industry owners all decided it would be lovely to host an afterparty. Great, just what you needed. A long night after a long day.

You sat in the hall, taking a sip of wine that had recently been given to you. You were by yourself at a table, everyone else was standing and chatting. It was alright for a moment, but then you started to feel isolated and bored out of your mind. However, you then heard a voice behind you.

"You know, just sitting there can be a bit agonizing." The voice said. You turned your head to see Daehyun, holding a wine glass just like yours and smiling at you... Wait. Why was he talking to you? Shouldn't he be talking to other people instead of trying to talk with you?
