Ever since the Survey Corps reached the sea, that place has been one of Levi's comfort places. He'd visit whenever he, although rare, had time. Even though it reminded him of his comrades' death, he was able to find somewhat of a sense of hope in this cruel world. He could face reality here―the reality that there was more to this world than inside the walls.

Levi stood in front of the water, which reflected the sky above. The salty scent filled his nose and the sound of the wave reached his ears. His gaze settled on the horizon, a hand shielding his eyes from sun's bright rays.

The sound brought him back from his thoughts. His eyes moved downward to the source of the sound, only to see a human, the bottom half body that looked like that of a fish.
