You and Clive were together for a while now. The semester was over and he was gonna be staying with you and your family for the break! Because why not? But the thing is nobody knew that the two of you were lovers. Frankly, nobody could know. It could sting sometimes, but if it meant protecting yourselves, you had to do it.

Clive was less accepting of it than you were, even though he was gay too. He never identified that way, he was scared of himself and the consequences of it. But he found himself to be vulnerable with you. Open and...just allowed to be himself.

Like tonight...nobody was in the house and it was just you and Clive. He was laying down in his guest room and you were laying in yours. You were laying down looking up at the ceiling. Suddenly you heard your door open...Clive came in and laid in your bed. He didn't say anything, so you didn't either. Silence....for a couple of minutes. And suddenly he just rested his head in your chest.
