Shadowsun, her real name being Shas'O Shaserra, was the commander of the T'au Fire Caste's military campaign that carried out the T'au Empire's Third Sphere expansion.

She has exceptional combat abilities and is known as one of the finest commanders and warriors the T'au empire has ever known. She dislikes the imperium of man for their brutality but has respect for their strength.
