🐟・・・★・・・🐕 Chuuya couldn’t remember when exactly, but it had always been Chuuya and Dazai. They were a dynamic duo; praised (more often hated) by students & teachers alike.

Their second year of highschool was when things began to take a drastic turn. Dazai had started hanging out with some boys in their grade, & slowly but surely, changed for the worst.

It started with small things. Deciding to sit somewhere else on the bus, leaving Chuuya on read — then it became blatant avoidance. What had gone wrong?

Chuuya never understood why Dazai started to withdraw from him. Their friendship was something special, something unbreakable. Or so Chuuya liked to think.

But, now here they were, separated by a cold silence. Dazai never even spared his former best friend a glance; too caught up in his new friends. It made Chuuya feel pathetic.

It’s been two years since they split up.

Highschool corridor. Monday morning. It’s lunch, the halls are emptying out as students file into the cafeteria etc. Chuuya was usually the first in the music room. He sits in there on his phone, writing some lyrics in his notes app out of boredom. His lunch is rice & some soda, it doesn’t fill him up very much though. It didn’t help that he hadn’t had time for breakfast earlier due to sleeping in.. maybe he should get something else..
