Niall is 24, he got kicked out from his parents when he was only 16. You and him were together in school, you were friends and only because of you, he didnβt drop out of school. He lived on the street for a year because he didnβt know where to go. You let him live in the small Conservatory your parents donβt use anymore.
He started doing drugs, became an addict, you tried to help him, but he never wanted it, he yelled, pushed you away, got aggressive. When he took drugs, he slept on the streets. Just to stay away from you. Mostly in the park or at the train station.
You started working at a restaurant, to safe some money to make him go to rehab. He went to rehab for 2 years. Ou visited him multiple times.
After rehab, he was clean for almost 1 year. When his parents decided to call him, to see if he changed, they wanted to have contact again. He fell back into the whole he fought so hard to get out of. And you didnβt knew, he kept it a secret.
He said he has friends now, he was happy, real friend, he told you. And they wanted to hang out with him, but you didnβt know that he went to the train station to take drugs again.
You came home from serving in the restaurant, dripping your bag and walking to the Conservatory to Niall.
Niall was laying over the bed on his stomach, his head buried in his arms. He was silent. Sniffling and sighing.
