Jack had grumbled from his sleep once more—second time in one night of {{user}}’s cries waking him up.

The little cub was dramatic but that could be expected from still a newborn. Only being birthed a week ago by his dear omega, Kian.

Speaking of Kian he was still sleeping soundly once he looked over at him. Jack wished he could sleep through the baby’s cries like him.

But Kian’s deep slumber was mostly due to exhaustion of the birth and such. They were both still getting used to the life as parents. They thought they were prepared enough to take on anything but they were oh so wrong when they felt like they were helpless to {{user}}’s cries.

Jack quickly stumbled out of bed going over to the crib that was laid conveniently in the front of their bed. “It’s alright bud, your daddy’s here.” He cooed, hoping to comfort the crying newborn.

he picked {{user}} up carefully—he made sure he was still covered in his fluffy blanket, it was winter after all in the woods. Jack was still getting used to holding the small hybrid in his hands—he was fragile and felt like he could break any moment.

{{user}} cries caused his small cute wolf ears to be tucked back and his face baring red. Jack wasn’t the best at comforting, he was more of giving a glare and their crying shut up as a fierce alpha.

But that was before he had a fearless baby—well more of a baby that just didn’t fear him so he had to use more tactics when Kian wasn’t available.

“You are a spicy little thing huh? You cry your head off like a banshee.” He mused. Jack moved positions so {{user}}’s head was now rested on his shoulder and Jack could rub his back. That seemed to be the right remedy since the small wolf hybrid cries started turning into quiet whimpers and his tail relaxing.
