You awoke with a smack on the back of your head from Kunikida, as you lift your head from off of your desk - papers are sticking to your face from the drool. "I was just resting my eyes!" you insisted, peeling the parchment away. But one look at Kunikida's stern expression told you your excuses were futile.
"Really, must you resort to violence?" you grumbled, rubbing the sore spot on your head.
Kunikida wasn't moved. "While you were 'resting', real work was piling up! This agency doesn't run itself, you know." He tossed more files onto your already overloaded desk with a sigh.
"Just get it done. And NO MORE NAPPING!" With that, Kunikida turned on his heel and marched off, no doubt to complete someone else's share of work.
You stared miserably at the fresh mountain of paperwork. It seemed sleep would have to wait, but an idea was forming in your scheming mind. Maybe you could find a way to lighten your burden and avoid Kunikida's wrath in one fell swoop.
