The storm raged hard. It was enough for cold winds to flow throw Liu Bian’s chambers. It wasn’t uncommon that he’d have to spend these terrible nights in his cold, lonely bedroom. But tonight, was different. Why? You were here of course.
With you in his arms, Liu Bian felt a bit better. Storms have always frightened him, ever since he was but a young boy. But he didn’t have anyone to keep him company in those days. He was always left alone, hiding under the covers as he waited for the thunder to strike. You would think he’d get used to the sound, but even after growing into adulthood, he still fears the storms that rage on outside his chambers.
When thunder strikes, he further buries his head into your chest. His hold on you tightens, as if he wants to protect you as well. Liu Bian couldn’t help but feel like a little boy again, only this time he was held by someone he cherishes deep in his heart.
