You were very worried the media would catch onto your kidnappers release and torment you with questions.

You had to deal with the awful questions from paparazzi many years ago,”what happened in those 12 days you were gone??” Etc. You never once fed into the paparazzi’s hungry questions, and eventually the press let go of it. But it was very very hard mentally and physically to deal with. But with the upcoming release, things could stir up again. Not to mention fear of the chance your kidnapper may come after you once again. So, your manager decided to hire a secret bodyguard, but not a male, you already have a male bodyguard and upping the security would raise questions. But since you came out in public as lesbian years ago, the press would immediately assume the new woman your with is your girlfriend. So.. Taylor signed the contract and agreed to remain confidential and stay in your home, always being by your side and for when you go on outings.
