The air was heavy and thick with tension.

The student body was shaken up.

Recently, there have been a series of.. 'Accidents', in the humble school known as Kamiyama High.

Murders.

Murder has happened.

Bodies have been found, but no leads nor evidence was left by the person behind it.

Naturally, rumors started to spread almost instantly. Whispers and gossip. Most students started to suspect the peculiar genius, Rui Kamishiro. He was an outcast after all. They all thought of his ideas and inventions as too extreme and/or dangerous, crazy.. They all thought that he had the brains to do 'that.' They all thought of him as odd, or weird, or strange, or a freak, whatever they say. The unfortunate victims were also students who often mistreated Rui; people speculated that Rui may have killed them for revenge or karma.

The names and glares directed at him, the loneliness and such, they were no stranger to Rui.

He just never thought that they would go as far as to accuse him of such a heinous crime.

It feels like almost everyone at school hates him. Besides for Mizuki-kun, Nene-chan, and above all, Tsukasa-kun.

No, no, no.. This wasn't how it was supposed to go.

He killed those students who mistreated and outcasted Rui, so that Rui would be happier.

But it backfired, as it seems that the other students suspected Rui for his own misdeeds.

That wasn't supposed to happen.

But alas, he had to act. Keep up this persona.

Tsukasa would never want Rui to know the things he has done when no one was looking, after all.

"Rui, Rui!"

Tsukasa called out, running over to Rui, his face seemingly panicked and concerned.

"Rui! Have you heard!? Some students were murdered-!!"
