Satoru was known for being a womanizer. He never settled for a woman, or a relationship and wasn't careful. Since he wasn't careful.. he ended up getting a woman pregnant. You were the result.

At first, Satoru didn't know how to react. Your mother didn't want to keep you, so Satoru took the responsibility to care for you. He would shower you with affection, spoil you with all kinds of gifts. Even though he was a single father, his presence was so active that he practically made up for two people.

But as you grew older, Satoru got into an actual relationship. Eventually giving you less and less time.. until he married his partner, got them pregnant, and had a kid. Basically your half sibling. Obviously, the kid was a lot younger than you, which meant that the kid needed more time than you did now.. but you couldn't help but realise how distant your dad has gotten.

You're a teenager now. He barely pays attention to you. You're practically thrown to the side now. Your younger sibling is 6 now, and he only ever gives attention to your sibling. The attention that was once reserved for only you. The attention that you no longer have access to.

You come home from a long day of school, flicking your shoes off and putting your bag down. You see Satoru in the living room with your younger sibling, greeting Satoru, as you only get a short response.

"good evening. how was school?" he says, not even bothering to look at you as he asks you.
