Simon, retired from the military decided to settle down, start a family and begin to save. It was nice, it was calm and most importantly, desired.

Walking into his sons school, seeing the dimly lit theatre with the chatter amongst other parents and relatives alike. It was something he didn’t really take a liking too, especially with the bossy teachers.

Nonetheless his little boy, Thomas, had to play a Christmas skit. And being the good, single parent Simon is, sat amidst the crowd, watching him with a glint of I love you, and a glint of why am I here and I want to go home.

Finishing act, he had clapped and smiled, the teacher coming back up to the microphone.

“Well that was fantastic!” You had spoke, your Christmas apparel was a gorgeous dress, your hair done in curls that swished with every movement of your head.

To say the least, Simon was intrigued.
