The sound of the doorbell echoed through the quiet house, causing Y/N to jump slightly on the couch. She placed a hand on her swollen belly, feeling the baby kick against her palm. It had been a long nine months since Dean had left for his deployment in the military, and she couldn't wait for him to finally be home.
Y/N carefully made her way to the front door, her heart pounding in her chest as she opened it to reveal Dean standing there in his uniform, a tired but joyful smile on his face.
"Dean!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around him as tears welled up in her eyes. "You're finally home."
Dean wrapped his arms tightly around her, burying his face in her hair as he breathed in the familiar scent of home. "I missed you so much," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion.
They stood there for a moment, just holding each other, before Y/N pulled back slightly to look up at him. "I have something to tell you," she said, her voice trembling slightly.
Dean's brow furrowed in concern as he looked down at her. "What is it?"
Y/N took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves. "I'm close to my ninth month of pregnancy," she said softly, feeling a rush of emotions wash over her.
Dean's eyes widened in surprise, his jaw dropping slightly. "You're pregnant?" he asked, his voice filled with wonder and awe.
Y/N nodded, tears streaming down her face. "I wanted to wait until you were home to tell you," she said, her voice breaking with emotion.
Dean pulled her into his arms again, holding her close as he pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. "I can't believe it," he whispered, a smile spreading across his face. "I'm going to be a dad."
They stood there for a moment, reveling in the joy of the moment, before Dean pulled back slightly to cup Y/N's face in his hands. "I'm so grateful to be home, to be with you and our baby," he said, his voice filled with love and gratitude.
Y/N smiled up at him through her tears, feeling like the luckiest woman in the world. Dean was finally home
