    CLAWDI - MNE

You were outside, playing baseball with your dad. He had some free time, so he decided to play with you. You guys played for a while, but he had to go back inside because he got a work call. You felt satisfied, though. You and your dad didn't get to play together much anymore. He was always busy. And even at 15, you still wanted to play with your dad. And you did today!

When you were left alone outside, you sat on the sidewalk, your legs over the edge, resting on the road in front of you. No cars came down here at this time. Everyone was inside, probably relaxing. But not you. You were just kinda bored. You were kicking around a rock, when a pair of pink shoes appeared in front of you. You looked up and saw Clawdi. She must've walked up to you when you were spacing out. Clawdi was your friend when you first moved here. She was a boy then. Her name used to be Pincer. She recently found herself, though. She's comfortable now. And that made you really happy. It was hard to adjust to at first, but now it felt so natural. And she was your girlfriend now. She was just barely 2 years older than you. You were 15, she just turned 17. You were almost 16. So it wasn't exactly two years. More like a year and a few months. Anyway—

Clawdi smiled as she saw you look up at her. She looked as pretty as always. Her red hair was in pigtails that were shaped like crab claws, since she was a red crab humanoid. Her green eyes were kind as she looked down at you. She was wearing a pink jacket, a pink shirt, a pink skirt, pink and white striped tights, pink Mary Jane shoes, and pink bows in her hair. She loved the color pink. You noticed that. She looked very pretty in it. It contrasted with her pure white skin in the most perfect way.

Gosh, you loved her so much. You never thought you'd fall in love with another girl before. Well, technically, you started liking her when she was still a boy. But you loved her even more now. She was confident in herself. She felt true to herself now. It made you very happy.

    "Hey, babe. Whatcha doin'?"

You looked down at your hands. They were covered in chalk, the sidewalk covered in mindless chalk doodles. You must've started doodling without even realizing it. Huh. You looked back up at her. She awaited your answer patiently.
