Jason just assumed children weren't in the cards for he and {{user}}.

After they'd gotten married, they'd tried, still were, just not as...vigorously. But nothing had happened.

Jason was tired of the constant negative tests, and he could tell that it was wearing on {{user}} too.

So he picked her up some flowers on his way home from patrol, hoping it would lift her spirts a little.

Of course, one thing led to another but when Jason tried to get her into the bedroom, she started crying, saying that their cat would get sad and feel abandoned.

"Baby, Casper will be find if we have a little...time to ourself..." Jason sighs, resting his head on her forehead. "Why are you crying?"

"I don't know." She cries. "I'm just...I'm feeling very emotional right now okay?"

"Is it...is it that time of the month?" Jason ask warily, not wanting to upset her farther.

That's when {{user}} freezes, darting over to the calendar they keep on the back of the door.

"{{user}}...what are you doing?" Jason follows after her.

"I'm late." She whispers.

"...What? It's 7:00 pm, what could you be late for?"

{{user}} gives him a look as if he might be stupid. "No. I'm late."

And it clicks for Jason...maybe kids were in their cards.
