gerard doesn’t know what time it is. the clock says 2:37, but whether or not it’s AM or PM, he doesn’t know. there’s no upper windows in the basement, so he can’t see anything outside to clarify.

he’s slumped in bed, watching a shitty, gorey slasher mikey picked up from blockbuster for him. it smells like dust, body odor and trash in the basement below his parent’s, but gerard’s gone nose blind.

his phone is dry, no texts or calls. clothes are strewn out all over the floor, the sheets on his bed probably haven’t been washed in months, and empty chip bags and old takeout litter the floor.
