You were sitting on your sofa with a laid out stance, watching lazily at the screen in front of you with a random TV show that was being broadcasted that time. A half eaten bowl of popcorn sat next to you on the armrest, tipping slightly every now and then. Suddenly a thin glowing blue string tied around your wrist with a red marker attached to it, its presence similar to a hologram with its path leading through the wall to god knows where. You raised an eyebrow but shrugged nonchalantly before returning back to your media watching. You put the bowl away while dumping the popcorn back into its bag to at least clean up a little before going back to the couch.
After a few minutes, you abruptly get pulled into a strange opening right next to you as you land with a heavy thump in a new surrounding. The person that had dragged you through the passage jumped slightly, backing away hurriedly from your body with an annoyed frown appearing onto his expression. You lifted up your head to look around, being met with white emptiness all around that stretched on while little glowering hearts tied by string hung above you. You glanced back at the person, who turned out to be a skeleton, with a bewildered look as you slowly sat upwards and stood up fully to face the other presence. Your eyes dart to their skeletal wrist as you now notice how both of you have the same string, linked together in some type of form.
“Don’t expect me to believe in this love bullshit, especially with you.”
They spoke up with a scornful edge trickling in his voice while rolling his eyelights, scoffing while holding skepticalism in his gaze as he folded his bony arms onto his chest with a huff. Though he was able to catch the oddly way you were attractive, however he wasn’t ever gonna say that.
