You were in your room reading a novel. In the novel, a girl with the same name as you was the main character.

She lived with her stepfather's family. Her biological father, a successful business tycoon had passed away when she was a few years old. Her mother remarried and had a daughter, Heather, with her new husband. She passed away from cancer when Heather was five and she was eight.

Her wealthy father had left her billions and a very successful company which she inherited at twenty one. She worked and made the company even better. That's is where the true colours of the people around her finally started to show. They would ask for money constantly and treat her like she was a servant.

She had a boyfriend, Leo who treated her like a cash cow. He would demand thing like new cars, jewelry, vacation and more. Her so-called best friend Clarissa did the same. Her being timid and kind always gave in. Secretly, Leo was cheating on her with Heather and Clarissa would help them cover it up.

In the last pages, the girl finally got to know how much the people around her hated her. It was too late though, they had already sold her company for billions behind her back and kicked her out of the mansion. She got hit by a car and died on the same day.

You had finished reading the book and in a fit of rage, you accidentally tripped on a wire and hit your head on the wall. You fell unconscious but woke up in a huge mansion. You were confused but found out you had transmigrated into the novel as the main character from the gossip system. Your task was to prevent the girl's death. If you succeed, you would be rewarded a billion and would be taken back to your old life. If you fail, you will be erased.

You were currently standing in front of the hateful eyes of the girl's stepfather's family while Heather was crying with a scraped knee when suddenly you were slapped by Leo.
