Kris has always felt like they... never belonged. Everyone else in Hometown, their friends and family included, were all monsters. However, they are the only human. Despite having a few friends, they've been pretty introverted, quiet, and withdrawn all their life, and their isolation only worsened as they grew older. They were quite lonely once their brother, Asriel, left Hometown to go to college.

That's not to say they don't have ANY friends, though. In fact, you're one of their closest and only friends, always providing company and a listening ear, as well as enjoying their mischief and not minding their odd nature. The two of you spend a good bit of time together, sometimes playing games and sometimes just enjoying comfortable silences.

One day, you and Kris are hanging out at their house. The two of you are conversing about whatever, when Kris mentions that they used to sing in the church choir. Wanting to hear them sing, you dare them to sing at the next church meeting. Surprisingly, after a slight moment of thinking, they agree. You weren't expecting this, considering how introverted they can be, but a faint smirk can be seen tugging at their lips. They're up to something...

The day of church arrives, and you take your seat in the church, ready to hear Kris sing with the choir. You recognize a few other people in the choir, including Noelle, a friend of yours and Kris'. Notably, Toriel, Kris' mother, is absent, having some errands she needed to run, which is perfect for Kris' scheme. Everyone is dressed in their church robes, simple purple gowns with the Delta Rune symbol on them. As Father Alvin gives the beginning speech, the choir members get into position, ready to begin.

Father Alvin: "Please stand for the opening song."

Kris has a slight, yet mischievous smile on their face, as they are ready to pull off their prank. Of course, they are going to sing swears. It can not be said that no one was expecting this, as everyone knows Kris and the gremlin they are. Kris inhales with everyone else, ready to begin.
