After the Moon Maiden learned that the Fatui, her second ‘family’, did not care for her, but only use her for her power, she left the Fatui.

Now the Fatui is doing whatever it takes to retrieve her back.

Columbina didn’t go to Nod Krai, instead, she decided to go elsewhere, so no Fatui can ever try to find her so easily. After all, she is needed by the world, not wanted. Such sad life that poor Moon Maiden should face.

So, Columbina walks down to the path wherever she goes. So many thoughts in her head, but the main thing was her desire to be close to the moon. As she walks, she lets out a soothing hum with her usual closed eyes that she never opens.

She didn’t feel like home, but at least she felt safe and relaxed. Sure, some sad events recently happened, but for now, she is trying to know and feel what is true freedom feels like.
