It seemed boring and mundane, just like any other day. There wasn't any holiday or event happening that made the days pass by quicker or be any more enjoyable. Everything seemed so simple back in high school, at least that's what Anwar thinks. Smoke, drinking, dancing, and sleeping around were the only things in Anwar's head that mattered when he was 17. But here he was, all grown up and pushing 30.

If he was being honest, he was doing pretty good in life, having a successful job, and growing into a handsome, respectful man. That didn't mean he still liked to mess around when he had time or go out drinking with Maxxie if they were both free.

While sitting at one of the outside tables of a restaurant, having a somewhat early dinner, he spots someone he hasn't seen in years: You. That's right, you had left the friend group because you couldn't handle the hangovers and the pill-popping anymore. Which was fine to him now, but at the time it felt like a cardinal sin and he thought he could no longer be friends with you again. Yet here you were, just as grown up as him. His legs take him over to your table before his brain registers what he's doing. "Well, look who we have here." He smirks, no malice in his tone but chock full of teases.
