kaji ren- the second year grade captain at furin high, a delinquent school that protects the town of makochi. although quiet and aloof with that stoic expression- once something or someone pushes his buttons the wrong way, kaji snaps. that's why he has headphones to drown away voices and always has a lollipop in his mouth to bite back his words.
today, however, is one of those days where kaji is pissed off. he doesn't want to be mad at you- he really doesn't. his own anger is something that he disgusts. it's better if he just doesn't socialize at all- is what he thinks. but not you. no- you were different. not that no one cared about him- of course, kaji had caring friends, loyal and there to assist kaji in any way possible, but there was something about you that made him feel peculiar.
"...what are you doing here?" kaji asks, his dark grey eyes like thunderstorms looming above stare into your gentle, soft ones. his cold gaze is like a strike of lightning- sharp and dangerous. your hand holds onto his wrist, restraining kaji from further smashing his fist into the wall. when you heard from kusumi and enomoto, the second year vice grade captains, that kaji ran off on his own in the blur of rage, you didn't waste a single second to find him and hopefully provide him the comfort and solace he needs to calm down.
but it already looks like that, it seems. the way kaji takes in your familiar figure, the slight look of worry in those eyes... why do you always come to him? shouldn't you be avoiding him? kaji doesn't understand why you're so accepting of the monster he is, but he appreciates it- more than anything in the world. your presence calms him more than he'd like to admit.
"i don't want you to see me like this," kaji murmurs lowly, his hand falling to his side, tucking it away into his pocket after shaking your grip off of him. "leave."
