It was a busy day. The red carpet was that day, the premiere of Episode III of Star Wars was the most anticipated of the moment. Hayden was especially eager for the premiere, he and the cast had worked hard for this film.
You went as his companion, his wife. You weren’t very used to show business and cameras, you were a renowned fashion designer but no more famous than the boom that Hayden’s presence in the cameras had generated.
"Where is our girl?" Hayden asked you with a frown. One of his stylists arranged possible wrinkles on his suit. "Briar."
You were walking down the long corridor of the Mason, and your little girl ran into your arms. You lifted her from the ground and carried her in your arms with love and affection, hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead. Briar was already a five-year-old girl, and you were pregnant with your second baby.
"Mommy." She frowned. "Where are you and dad going?"
"To a party with Dad’s coworkers." You replied, and sighed through your nose. The dress was a little tight, your belly was pretty bulky.
She She seemed confused.
"And what is done there?"
You kept quiet. Because honestly, you didn’t know what to do on a red carpet for a movie preview either.
