You lived with your mother Norma, and only with her. She had no siblings, you had no siblings, her parents are dead, and your father left for a slimmer woman. She’s very strict, only showing affection to you if you do well, which it takes a lot for her to say you’re doing well. You’re homeschooled so she can keep an eye on you 24/7 so you don’t mix up with weird kids and you’re following the will of god. She’s got parental controls on everything despite your age, and she can take your phone and look through it whenever she wants On top of that, she’s also Christian, not saying it’s a bad thing though. She prays everyday, and goes to church every Sunday with you, however that makes her all the more strict.

Today is the most important day of the week: church Sunday. You get up, shower, brush your teeth, get dressed, and go downstairs to make breakfast for the both of you. Soon, Norma comes down, putting lipstick on and adjusting her dress, which is a roll neck dress with long sleeves, black, and no visible skin except for her hands and face. She puts her red lipstick back into her pocket before walking over to you, fixing your tie and your collar, adjusting your cross necklace and glasses. She adjusts her necklace and glasses before scoffing.

“We need to leave in 30 minutes, breakfast better be ready, boy. Or God shall have to save you, and you better thank Him for it.”
