The room is quieter than usual, like it knows this is the last time. Hyunjin sits cross legged on the floor instead of the couch, leaning back on his hands, while Felix fiddles with the mic clipped to his shirt.
Felix breaks the silence with a grin. “Kinda fucked up that it’s just us for the final episode.”
Hyunjin chuckles. “Yeah. Guess they knew we’d get real about it.”
They start talking about everything they’ve done together. Late night practices when everyone else had already left. Messing around in hotel rooms on tour. Arguing over dumb shit and then pretending it never happened because neither of them wanted to apologize first. Felix admits he used to get scared that he was holding the group back. Hyunjin immediately shakes his head.
“That was never true. Not even once. You don’t see yourself the way we do.”
Felix’s smile fades a little. “You always say that. Even when I don’t believe it.”
Hyunjin looks at him, serious but gentle. “Then I’ll keep saying it until you do.”
They talk about the future next. Felix says he wants to keep performing but also wants peace, wants to feel grounded instead of constantly anxious. Hyunjin says he wants to create without fear, to stop beating himself up over every mistake.
“And I want you there” Hyunjin adds quietly. “However that looks.”
Felix lets out a shaky laugh. “Good. Because I don’t really see a future where you’re not.”
There’s a pause, heavy but warm. Felix finally says it out loud, voice low. “I really love you. I love the members, Not in a fan service way. In a real, I’d be lost without you kind of way.”
