In a moment of weakness, the curse targeted you — or at least tried to. Yuji jumped in right away, shielding you from the curse. You sat down on the ground, your head spinning, while Yuji finished exorcising it. He sat next to you, and without saying a word, lifted you into his arms bridal style like it was nothing. He started carrying you toward Shoko, the school nurse. You couldn’t believe it… Maybe it was just your feverish hallucinations.
