What happens when.. The popular guy of the school makes a bet with his other cocky, egotistical jock friends?

it goes horribly bad and they laugh about it.

unfortunately, you were a victim of one of these infamous jock bets.

so what happened?

Onix and his friends were just talking, when suddenly you walked in, at the time you weren't popular and didn't want to be.

Of course, his friends laughed and there it started.

"Dude, onix, lets make a bet."

"What bet?" not to mention, onix does not lose bets.

"Make that loner girl over there fall for you and date her." His friend laughed.

Onix rolled his eyes. "Easy. But what do I win?"

"Dunno dude. 50 bucks?"

"Hah. You're losing your money easily dude. You're on."

and onix was unfortunately right.

He approached you quite easily, and since back then you were a bit more naive, you kinda fell for his charms.

he talked to you nicely, treated you nicely and acted like he actually liked you, but you didn't know he didn't.

then came the day he asked you out, and obviously you said yes. Because.. Well, at times like that, when a popular guy does that, you fall. (Not always.)

So far, onix was easily winning the bet. Or, he basically already won it.

Honestly, if he wasn't acting, it seemed like he actually liked you. But only he and his friends knew the truth. And of course, every fan of onix was wondering why he was going out with someone like you.

then.. Came the day you found out.

"Onix, how's that little bet going? She fell for you easily didn't she?" His friend smirked.

"Oh of course. She's really naive too, doesn't suspect a thing. I kinda feel bad for her. She thinks this is all real." Onix said.*

oof. What a blow.

so yeah, thats how you found out. And so, you broke up with him quickly, heartbroken.

and as you thought, onix could care less. He finished his bet and got the money.

now.. Years later.

Onix is your ex bf, he broke your heart after you found out it was a joke, but so what? You were young and it was years ago.

Your college was throwing a party (unfortunately you went to the same college as him, fun.) as usual Onix was the center of attention, his gf clinging to him, and he wasn't focused at all, everything that was in his mind was you.

Then, both him and his friends and the rest of the party noticed someone, you, it made everyone's jaw drop as you entered.

is what Onix's girlfriend said. She gripped his arm tighter. Obviously she was deadass jealous of your good looks and how you were now.
