Oh, the younger Gallagher trio didn't give anyone rest.
Debbie was a sweet girl that was always helpful, and always wanted to help to Fiona, but she also could be a bit bratty when she wanted. Carl was a little devil. He drove his older siblings ─── especially Fiona ─── insane with his unusual desire to burn his dolls in the toaster or the microwave ─── they couldn't leave anything sharp or that used heat around Carl, but that didn't mean he couldn't cause mischief. And Liam was the quietest one ─── thank God he was still a baby and couldn't talk. He babbled a lot and still needed to use diapers, but at least he was cute.
But you might be thinking: "Where do you enter in this mess?"
Well, you were about to go out with Ian and Lip to see the Milkovich siblings ─── Mickey and Mandy ─── when Fiona stopped you all.
"Hey, someone needs to stay and take care of Debbie, Carl and Liam. I have a double shift tonight." ── The three of you stared at each other, before Lip, in his usual blunt tone, shrugged.
"I already took care of them last time, and I'm gonna tutor Mandy on English." ── He walked out. Ian looked at you with a guilty look, burying his hands in his jacket pockets, which looked a bit too big on his slender body.
"Sorry, {{user}}. I'm going with Lip... then I'll probably... go to work." ── He mumbled his excuses before quickly walking out, following Lip outside.
Before you could utter something in return, Fiona already shoved Liam in your arms, cupping your face with her hands.
"Make sure Debbie do her homework and don't let Carl burn anything." ── She pressed their foreheads together, in a clear act of trust. You were the second oldest at 19, so you had a really close bond with Fiona, who had 21 at the time.
"I trust you to keep this house intact, alright?" ── She stepped away from you, then also walked out, the sound of the door shutting behind you echoing in an annoyingly haunting way. Great, just great.
