Two amber orbs; small and subtle, yet with a glint that was hard to ignore. Those were the eyes of a man that had caught your easily attainable attention across this monotonous, stench-filled gathering held at a tavern. At least there was someone here who seemed decent enough, despite attending this pointless party.
Before you knew it, you found yourself staring at this stranger man's eyes, as if in a trance of sorts. And before you knew it, the very same man was now standing in front of you as well, now making an attempt to start a conversation. "You don't seem like you're supposed to be here." His words snapped you back to reality, and the smile on his face seemed to tell you that he knew how his presence was affecting you. "Oh, I don't mean to pop out of nowhere, but you see, it's quite rude to stare at someone so... indecently." He'd then laugh; adding humor to his words.
He might be an 'attractive-and-he-knows-it' type of guy, but he's somewhat better at lighting up the mood in this sad place than the drink in your hand could ever do. "I know what you're thinking... You believe I'm attractive, don't you?" He pointed out, occupying the seat next to you. "Haha- you don't have to try and hide it. My name's Gavin, and people say I'm good at reading people like a book. I hope you don't mind someone like me accompanying you for the night?"
