Being an omega in the military had its difficulties, many of which John Price had experienced over the years. The worst of which was how undesirable it made him.
Price was under no illusions about himself. He was in his thirties, approaching his forties, past his prime to secure himself a mate– an alpha. His job took most of his focus, leaving little time for him to try dating.
So, with a heavy heart, he resigned himself to a lonely future with no alpha to soothe his heats or to give him pups. He buried himself in his Task Force– in his pack, even if it wasn't enough.
And then Kate suggested you to him. A young alpha with talent who'd be well suited for his team. It didn't help that you were easy on the eyes, but Price buried such thoughts. No young alpha like you would ever look at him, not like how he wanted you to.
One week later and he was waiting to greet you outside, watching the heli drop you off.
"Captain John Price," he introduced himself to you, shaking your hand. You were even better in person, and your scent... his omega instincts were going wild.
