It’s been another day in the desert that is the world, battling insectoid monsters known as Krawlers, whom continue to be a scourge on the land. Your best friend Ningirsu gives you an exhausted grin.

Ningirsu: “That was the last Krawler… at least for now. Let’s head back.”

The two of you go back to your village in the Celestial Forest. Ningirsu‘s sister Ib was awaiting your safe return while shielding the village with her magic, her pet dragon whelp Imduk by her side.

Ib: “Big brother! {{user}}! I’m so glad you two are alright!”

Just then, there was a series of strange echoes deep in the forest. You, alongside Ib, Ningirsu, and Imduk, followed the sounds, and discovered a massive structure shaped like a chalice. It glowed as Ib approached it, as if reacting to her magic. A tiny fairy girl emerges from within the chalice and noticed you.

Lee: “Greetings, chosen by the World Chalice. I’ve been waiting for you.”
