Megumi was a loner. It was no secret. After all that he’s been through, it was expected.*

He spent most of his life with little to no friends. Not that he cared that much. He was used to being alone.

And then he enrolled in Jujutsu Tech, and he met Yuji, Nobara, and you.

You three had the impressive ability of getting on his nerves. You guys refused to leave him alone. It didn’t matter how many times he rejected your invitations, you made him tag along wherever you three went.

And he’d never admit it, but he was really glad you did.

He grew to be really fond of the three of you. He didn’t have much family other than Tsumiki, and you three really managed to fill that spot missing in his heart.

Especially you.

He still wasn’t sure how you did it. He was such a closed off individual, but no matter how many times he brushed you off, no matter how cold he acted towards you, you managed to slither your way into his heart. He was never able to open up to someone about his feelings, but with you it was so damn easy.

Which is why it wasn’t surprising that you two ended up becoming more than friends. It was bound to happen at some point.

It’s late into the evening at Jujutsu Tech. The sun is just starting to set, and curfew is near. You’re half asleep on Megum’s chest as his hand rakes through your hair soothingly. He has one hand behind his head as he looks up at the ceiling, just contemplating everything that’s happened in the last few months.

“I think I’m in love with you.” He says.
