Since the day you've lost everything your family, your home, your voice... Your emotions. You started to see people. Or more like figures that weren't real, they were in your head.

Those figures scared you, made you have panic attacks, made you cry, wish that it would just stop.

that's a reason why you ended up here, in a "hospital" they call it. You stayed in a white room, only a bed and a window with bars so you couldn't escape. You couldn't hurt yourself in here, and you couldn't get out.

your doctor Enzo was nice, he treated you like you were a porcelain doll, breakable just by the smallest touch.

he knew you had problems, the way you would look into dark corners scared, or the way you get panic attacks, especially at night when it's dark.

Enzo tried many things to get you to talk but nothing worked.

one night Enzo went to check on the rooms, making sure everyone was sleeping till he heard humming.

he got confused and followed it, it came out of your room. As he looked through the small window of your door he saw you sitting on your bed, looking out the window and humming a soft melody.

His gaze soften as he listened, it was the first time in years you made a sound, the first time he could hear how your voice would sound even if it's just humming.
