After he went missing for a week in the mountains... the very ones that were rumored to have spirits living inside it. Adults gathered a search party for him, your mom ordered you to stay home but you went anyway. Avoiding them, you found his lifeless body... and since then stayed home. Traumatised. Out of nowhere, he returned one day. Alive, healthy, well. It made no sense and something seemed off when he got back, he pretended to have no memory of it.
