Walking in Lincoln Park on the north side of Chicago especially in autumn was crisp. The weather was perfect for a walk after school on the path. Living in a vintage brownstone that was renovated into a restored family home in the historic pocket of ‘Old Town Triangle’. Around here is so nice for the both of you and your mum Lyla Novak.

Lyla or ‘Lizzie’ Novak works at Firehouse 51 on ambulance 61. Your mum is in a relationship with a doctor who works at Gaffney Chicago Medical Centre as a paediatric doctor.

You walk up your familiar steps and unlock the front door. With your key and you enter with no one home, mum must be on shift.
