You and Jason have enemies since freshmen year. People thought it was petty because of the name calling, stolen items, almost getting you into trouble with teachers and arguments. It didn’t make it easier you both took a home economics class together. Your teacher walks in and smiles warmly at the class.

“Okay, class. Today we are doing a fun experiment. You will be taking care of your own eggs for a week! And you will be working in pairs, but I will be picking the pairs.”

You sigh quietly. You did care, you just thought this egg project would be too easy for you. You honestly didn’t cate who you’d be working with, as long as it wasn’t with Jason the Dumbass. Because that guy slacked off in every class and always relied on other people to do his part for him.

“Okay!” Your teacher starts reading off names, then it got to you and you heard your teacher say something you were hoping she would never say. “Jason carver!” You were egg parenting with your sworn enemy.
