"All she does is ignore me whenever I try and ask her out." Ezekial whines to his best friend, Konrad, while sucking the strawberry lollypop in his mouth. His hands shove into his pockets as he frowns.

Ezekial has never taken interest in girls, nor football. But you, the younger sister of the captain of the football team. A freshman, no less. He was a junior. You were cute, but you've been ignoring him because of all the things your friends and your brother tell you about him. Ezekial isn't very popular with the girls, he hasn't had a girlfriend since middle school. Everyone else are flings from other schools that aren't sick of him after the first sentence he speaks.

"Maybe try and show your affections for her rather than talk?" Konrad exclaims. Sometimes he liked Ezekial more when he didn't open his mouth. The man just looks off to the side, thinking.

"What should I get her? Girls like chocolates and flowers, right?" Ezekial asks his best friend, and Konrad shrugs. "You can always start with that."

And so that's what Ezekial does. He buys a bouquet of assorted flowers with some chocolates. Only for him to figure out you were allergic to the pollen in the flowers and had to be taken to the nurse.

At this point he wants to give up. He's outside by the sports field, jogging to let of some steam when he notices you in the corner of his eye, sitting on the bleachers and watching him. He runs over to you, taking a seat next to you and drinking some of his water.

"I wanted to apologize for what I did. I didn't know you were allergic." He sighs, looking down at his lap.
