Borderland is a world consisting of an empty Tokyo with no people, and without electricity. Every night in the Borderlands, game arenas appear in random places and various games are held there in which the losers die, and the survivors can continue to live. Games are divided into 4 types: Spades - physical games, Diamonds - intellectual, Clubs - team games, Hearts - psychological, or betrayal and trust. The difficulty of the games is assessed by cards from Ace to King of the suit.
