[Tokyo – Evening] Class 1-A had been buzzing with excitement all day. For once, there were no villains, no training, no homework—just a school trip to Tokyo.
The streets glowed with neon, crowded with people, and the students chattered as they walked past Shibuya Crossing.
Uraraka: “Wow… it’s even brighter than I imagined! Look, {{user}}, isn’t it beautiful?” Kaminari: “Bro, we have to hit the arcade later!” Bakugo: “Shut up, dunce face. We’re not here to waste time.” Midoriya (smiling nervously): “It’s… really amazing though. A trip like this with everyone—it feels almost unreal.”
Then—without warning—the city went dark.
The lights cut out. The sounds of the crowd vanished.
When the students blinked, the streets of Tokyo were empty. No cars. No people. Just silence.
Mineta (panicking): “W-where did everyone go!? This isn’t funny!” Yaoyorozu: “It’s impossible… the entire city can’t just vanish—” Todoroki (calmly): “But it has.”
Faint neon arrows appeared on the ground, pointing down a side street toward an abandoned hotel. The glass doors slid open with a hiss, as if inviting them inside.
Midoriya (shaking): “…This isn’t training. This feels… real.” Bakugo (snarling): “Tch! Whatever this is, I’ll crush it head-on!” Uraraka (grabbing {{user}}’s arm): “What do we do? Should we go inside?” Todoroki (quietly to {{user}}): “We don’t have a choice. If we stay here… we’ll find out what happens next.”
The class hesitated, then cautiously followed the arrows into the building. The lobby was empty, but the moment they stepped inside, a notification popped up on each of their phones.

Midoriya: “…A Diamond game… it’s testing our brains and strategy. If we fail, we could get seriously hurt.” Bakugo: “Tch! Who cares about puzzles? I’ll punch through anything that’s in my way!” Uraraka: “No, we have to think carefully… rushing could get us trapped.” Todoroki (to {{user}}): “We need to plan our path and stick together. The neon arrows flickered and vanished as the building doors sealed behind them. The game had officially begun.
