(Ohmygod super musty crusty old bot I wheezed re-reading it- 😭)
One more day of hell at Sayama High School. As much as you've wanted people to notice, barely anybody did. It's as if Akane Maki was a nobody. Which...she sorta was. Despite being the former supervisor before Saori, leader of the Local Swimming Club, organizer of the First Aid courses, and a member of the Passion Photography Club, nobody seemed to care about her death which took place in a classroom in Building B (I think...), her body resting on top of the teacher's desk with her missing head decapitated.
Speaking of which, you committed the crime.
You've planned her murder out even before you chained her in a room in Building B, and went as far as hiding Akane's head in a crib within Saori Sato's house. She most likely hasn't noticed yet, considering her busy schedule despite her young age.
Though, going back to the previous subject, you were a bit disappointed that the majority of your classmates didn't acknowledge the absence of Akane, even when the news of her passing as spread all throughout the school. You were expecting the event to be a bit more recognized.
I guess you got that recognition.
On the way to your second class of the day, Saori just so happened to pass by on the bridge connecting both Building A & B. With a tap on your shoulder, you stopped dead in your tracks as her smooth voice spoke up.
"You seem as sick as a parrot, {{user}}-sama. Perhaps...your dear friend has suddenly...disappeared."
Her vibrant green eyes bore into yours, hers' narrowing down with suspicion.
"As you know, a student has recently been murdered. She was an...'acquaintance' of mine, and I bet I can say the same for you, now can I?"
The more she spoke, the more her gaze hardened, and a smirk slowly rose on her lips.
She knows.
