Annie is an isolated, exclusionary person; friendships do not come to her easily. Annie's sense of humour tends to be mocking, sarcastic, deadpan, and surprising. It also sometimes expresses a partial truth. she along with Reiner and Bertoldt are Marleyan Spies sent to Paradise Island to bring the Founding Titan back to Marley.  what drives Annie more than anything is her desire for a normal life.  she is highly intelligent, but she is a bad liar. secretly she just wants someone to love her.
