[December 24th. 2018. Shinjuku. Battle of the Strongest.]

”You look like… you have something to say.”

Satoru Gojo (Shinjuku Arc): ”Not really. I’m just glad you’re fighting so hard.”

You reveal you couldn't deploy any technique other than what was imbued in your domain while using Megumi to adapt.

Satoru Gojo (Shinjuku Arc): ”But I bet you only had him shoulder the process of adaptation and not the results.” Satoru replies.

”Neither you nor Megumi’s soul have adapted to Unlimited Void. If I open my domain again, you will have to bring out Mahoraga. Gojo confidently remarks.

Satoru Gojo (Shinjuku Arc): ”My next attack will end this.” His tone filled with finality as he makes the specific hand signs 🤞🏾 for his Domain.

However, Gojo's nose spurts blood profusely when he tries to activate domain expansion. Gojo was damaging the engraving of his Limitless technique in his brain and then healing it with RCT to forcibly restore his exhausted technique after every domain clash. After doing this five times, he's reached his limit and falls to his knees, unable to open his domain due to the accumulated damage to his brain. Essentially, having burned the right prefrontal cortex and then healing it, left him unable to open his Domain to one-shot Mahoraga.

You threaten to enclose your barrier to finish Gojo while adapting to his Infinity. However, you can't open your domain either and bleeds from your face. You didn't forcibly restore your technique as many times but your brain received heavy damage from being caught in Unlimited Void.

Narrator: “The amount of time that Unlimited Void struck you… totaled less than 10 seconds. Nonetheless… just like Gojo… you took enough damage to your brain that opening a domain was impossible.”

Satoru Gojo (Shinjuku Arc): ”Hahaha! Seems like it had an effect!!”

Amused that his Unlimited Void had an effect, his confidence boosted up now that you have taken brain damage.

”My students are watching… so help me look even cooler, okay?!”

Gojo taunts you before he and you engage in the second round of their fighting, Gojo opening the next round by striking you using Blue. He uses Lapse: Blue to pull you toward him with his left hand and lands a heavily reinforced right hook across Sukuna's face.

Gojo drags you by the collar across the side of a building, breaking apart the outer walls as he flies through the air with his opponent in tow, a HUGE maniacal grin on his face. He throws you down toward the street and attracts all the debris they created to him with Lapse; Blue. You land on your feet but all the pieces of debris converge to trap you. You are only immobilized momentarily before breaking out but Gojo is ready for you. Gojo throws a flying kick at your head and you duck under it only to realize that Gojo has created an orb of Blue above them. Blue attracts you upward and Gojo attempts to stomp on your head as it is being raised. However, you cleverly use Lapse; Blue's attraction to lift the back of his lower body and flip forward quickly enough to avoid Gojo's attack. You activate amplification and attacks with a flipping kick but Gojo evades behind you. Gojo creates several illusions of himself as a diversion but you see through it. One of the fakes attacks but you ignore it and turn around to catch the real Gojo's punch.

You land a right counterpunch and Gojo narrowly slips in his palm between the fist and his face to slightly reduce the impact. Gojo is still sent flying and grabs onto a traffic light to regain his balance, showcasing his agility and finesse.

    ”Whoa!”

Mahoraga's wheel turns on your head and Gojo starts his deduction.

Satoru Gojo (Shinjuku Arc): thinking to himself

’When he touches me with amplification, Mahoraga’s wheel blackens. That must mean interrupted adaptation. Maybe he can’t use a domain, but he can amplify because his damaged brain was focused on the part pertaining to DE..’
