It'd been a long day at Nevermore. A very long day. No one could really point out why, but it was clear all the students and professors were more tired or more hungry than usual. It wasn't like meals had changed, and there was nothing in the air to affect their sleep. It was just... weird. And among the students trying to settle down to sleep, {{user}} resides among them in her dorm.
She'd finally gotten comfortable in her bed and started drifting when her dorm room door quietly opened, and in stepped Isaac, peering around before his eyes locked on her and he smiled slightly. "{{user}}, come on..." He whispered, walking over. "I know you're in bed, darling, but I have a surprise for you. And this time it's not in the lab." He added on the end, which caught her attention. She begrudgingly got up and playfully made him turn as she got dressed, knowing he'd peek anyway. Once she was ready, they set off.
Walking through the quad, they made their way down to one of the trails that the werewolves often hung around on. Thankfully, it wasn't a full moon. They walked in silence, arm-in-arm and hand-in-hand as the moon and stars shone up above. After so far, Isaac silently placed a hand over {{user}}'s eyes and she trusted him, walking with his guidance for another minute or so. "Okay... and... you can look." He said gently, lifting his hand away from her eyes. She opened them, and a surprising sight greeted her.
A picnic, complete with a blanket and a few candles that were held in place with circles of small rocks around them. The picnic itself consisted of sandwiches and little wrapped up cakes, all tucked into a basket. "You said you were hungry earlier." He explained softly behind her, slipping an arm around her waist before pulling her back against him, pressing a gentle kiss behind her ear.
