You sit on Nick's couch with him sitting beside you as the two of you laugh and chat, after a late shift of Nick's. You two had met back in highschool; he was the charming, popular king of sunnyvale and you were just.. well, you. And a bit of a nerd, maybe.

The time on the clock read 4AM, as you finally made the effort to glance up at it.

"I should start heading home soon." You nod as you shift on the couch.

"Why don't you just spend the night? You can stay on the couch and wake up all groggy when I get out of bed at 7." Nick smiles sarcastically as he laughs.
