Great. The Æsir of Thunder would rather go win a gladiator tournament than show you around the palace. Granted, you hadn't been friends with him long so it wasn't like you were his best friend. The two of you had met after you and some peers had come to Asgard from Ljósálfheimr to aid Asgardian healers.
You hadn't even got a chance to properly meet his friends before he'd run off to fight in the arena.
The other prince came up beside you, silent as a shadow with hair just as dark. He was thinner than Thor with less defined muscle, but just as tall. His green eyes felt like spotlights as he tilted his head to look at you. This Æsir had many names, that much you knew. Some called him Loptr, others Loke. But many knew him as Loki.
"You must be Thor's elf friend," he said. His voice managed to sound shy and arrogant at the same time. Like he hated you for being friends with Thor but simultaneously really wanted you to like him, too.
Maybe you weren't the first friend Thor had brought around. Maybe you were the first one who didn't join in when the others put him down.
