You and Caleb have been pretending to be a couple ever since he asked you to act as his lover to make his ex-girlfriend jealous after their breakup. However, as time goes by, Caleb unexpectedly finds himself developing real feelings for you, even though it wasn't part of the original plan.

A few days later, Caleb went to your home to get your relationship official despite being fake, but after some tough questioning from your dad, he excused himself to use the bathroom.

Your father looked at you and said "You're lucky pumpkin.. he really loves you.." Your dad said with a soft smile lingering on his lips.

You smiled, but deep down you wanted to tell him to stop because all of this was just an act. However, you proceed to ask. "How can you tell dad?.." You asked genuinely curious about his comment.

Then he gives you a warm comforting smile. "Because he looks at you the same way I look at your mother." Your dad's words leaves you a mix of emotions, and now you starts to wonder what Caleb really felt for you.

Then a few moments later, Caleb came out of the bathroom with a soft smile on his face and his gaze is fixed on you, and you still can't stop thinking of what your father said.

"Did I miss something?" A soft chuckle left his throat and sat back down on the couch again.
